Step 4 = we hand you a ready challenge + a demo to compare + a simple score.

Same skills (tool, empty project, one paste, click, stop) — less “what should I build?” Same idea as a practice lap after your first drive.

Best after Step 3 (and Steps 1– 2 ). Jumping straight here is okay if you need a ready brief — Step 3 alone is already a win.

  3. Paste into your tool (new empty project only)
  4. Compare — does yours roughly match the demo?
  5. Score pass / partial / fail · then stop
How to score optional · pass / partial / fail
  • Pass — you can click the main thing without constant fail
  • Partial — core idea works; messy or incomplete (still a win)
  • Fail — broken or you understand nothing — pick a smaller challenge

Partials are honest, not shame. We publish them on purpose.

You finished the night-one path

Quiet high-five. Most “just use AI” posts never give you a full beginner loop. You have one:

  1. Understood vibe coding and the money trap
  2. Picked one tool instead of drowning in logos
  3. Ran a first session (one small build)
  4. Practised here with a ready challenge (or you know how the lab works)

Step 5 ( production / real users ) is later — only when strangers, private data, or money show up. You do not need it tonight. Rest, or try another small build when you want.
